MUMBAI: The police busted a gambling den in Vikhroli area by arresting 38 people during a raid on Monday.
The police also seized Rs 3.6 lakh during the raid and were in process of registering an FIR. Police said that besides the gambling act, the accused are likely to be booked for violating lockdown norms as well.
According to the police, arrested people include businessmen from Thane, Navi Mumbai and Kalyan. The owner of the gambling den, manager and four women are among those arrested.
