Maharashtra: Bachelor who wooed, duped 16 women, held – Times of India

MUMBAI: A 35-year-old married man from Vikramgad in Palghar district was arrested for allegedly cheating around 16 women by promising them marriage.
The accused, Sachin Sambre, was nailed by the Navi Mumbai police after a woman, who is a lawyer, learnt the truth. Sambre was living with his second wife in Thane, after divorcing his first wife. He advertised on matrimonial sites and allegedly claimed he was a bachelor working for an MNC.
The lawyer too had accepted his proposal and the two had even dated. When he put off the marriage, she made inquiries and found he had cheated at least 16 women of valuables and exploited them sexually.
