MUMBAI: The suburban train buses in Mumbai were running on Sunday with 60% services operational while general public was not allowed to travel.
Officials said that only those who were part of emergency services with valid ID cards were travelling and were very few in numbers since morning.

There were hardly any autos or taxis on road although few are parked near stations and airports.

The BEST undertaking was operating its red buses although there were very few passengers. BEST general manager Surendrakumar Bagde said he will ensure that there would be buses across the city to cater to those wanting it in an emergency and also for those involved in essential duties.
