MUMBAI: Sub-inspector Yusuf Shaikh (37) was booked by Ghatkopar police for rape, unnatural sex, assault and issuing threats, after his second wife a lodged a complaint against him recently. She also accused him of trying to divorce her by saying triple talaq.
The police said they registered her complaint, and are probing the matter. They said there was a dispute going on between the complainant and Shaikh as he wanted to divorce her, though she had recently given birth to a boy.
