MUMBAI: The kingpin of a gang that helped people migrate to foreign countries using forged documents was among five people arrested recently for the human trafficking racket. The other four include a couple from Gujarat who planned to migrate to the UK besides two accomplices of the gang leader.
The police said that the gang leader, Manish Ghogari (36), has already helped at least 10 couples from Gujarat to the UK and was about to send six other other couples.
The couple, Hitesh Patel (36) and his wife Mitaben (33), contacted Ghogari whose aides, Amit Agarwal (41) and Bhavesh Shah (44), forged documents for their passports.
